Crossing stories
Submit your story. Please.
We are collecting "crossing' stories. Why?
Well, it has to do with the five steps to crossing the nonsense divide.
(What do you mean you don't know the five steps?
Read the book!)
To be more specific - it has to do with the
5th Step: Share It.
Sharing what you have learned is a powerful way to
re-enforce what you have learned. It is also a good way to uncover what
you still need to learn. In other words, sharing tends to benefit
you more than the person receiving your wisdom.
But it does benefit those receiving it! Reading
what others have gone through to get to the other side of the nonsense
divide often helps us stay focused and committed when we find ourselves at
the edge of another divide.
In other words, I ask you to share your story so that
you can benefit by enabling us to benefit. Got that?
Here's what you must do to share your story:
Sit still. Have your pencil in hand or keyboard
at the ready. Be quiet.
Think about the many times you have crossed a nonsense
divide. Pick one that makes you smile. Or one that still brings a
tear to your eye. Any one that matters to you.
Write it or type it, straight from the heart.
Don't fuss with it. Just let it flow.
Now read it and correct only the obvious mistakes.
With your permission, we will edit it for grammar and for clarity.
But not for style - this is your story, not ours.
Now please email it to us. Copy it straight into
the body of the email or attach it any common text file format.
Please add in your email that you give us permission to use
your story on our website or in a future book.
Please add the name you want us to use as the 'teller
of the story'.
Please include your mailing address. If your story
is used, then we would like to send you a gift copy of one of our books.
And if your story is published in book form, we definitely want to send
you a copy of that book - for free.
